Palmer High School, home of the Moose, is located in the Matanuska-Susitna Valley and boasts a student body of 750. Moose basketball is classified as 4A and competes in the Northern Lights Conference.

The 2011-2012 season returns a number of players with varsity experience. Last year, the Moose went 14-14 overall, 8-2 in Region play and made the State playoffs. It was the best Region finish since the 2004 basketball season when the Moose won the NLC conference title. This year's Moose know how to succeed and are hungry to hit the hardwood. It's certainly a great day to be a Moose!
